Anatolian chamois`s weight and horns are bigger than the other chamois species.They live in the high levels of Northern and Eastern of Turkey.
Hunting area is in Kaçkar Mountains at Black Sea Region.
The altitude of this area is between 2000 to 3000 meters.
Anatolian Chamois (Rupicapra rupicapra asiatica) - Have up to 75 cm of height and 45 kg of weight. These animals are hunted on the northeast of Turkey, in altitudes of up to 3200 meters. The best period for hunting is from August until mid November and it can be hunted together with the Bear and Wolf.
