Kelebek (Butterfly) -left- They are known to fly solo. When flown in a kit, they behave like a swarm of bees. They mainly change direction based on the birds flying below them. Flight time, depending on training, will change between half and hour to two hours. Like doneks they gain altitude rapidly once given start. In some regions their high flying ability is preferred and they can stay at this altitude much longer than doneks. At times, they will disappear from eyesight. When a dropper is shown they will dive in spirals. Their spins are not tight and quick like doneks. They will also show their spins during flight. Some even tumble but, this is not desired by the breeders. When on the ground they behave like chickens and very rarely fly by them selves.

Like a parakeet's beak has to be as wide as possible and curve down to fit on the flat forehead of Bango. Eyes, while popping out of the scull, must be as far away from each other as possible.Wing-tail or above tail colored and the rest of the bird shoud be white. It is also possible to see colored-wing and white-tail. All other colors of this breed are not traditional and developed recently. These petit birds come with very short legs. They are bred to get the smallest birds possible. any kind of leg feathering is considered to be a grave foult. This covers anything below the elbow. They can be seen with a chest rose or with out it. Bango is a relatively fragile breed and raised soley for its beauty. They are fragile to the point of catching any illness there. Their flight skills are very limited and because they are a very valuable breed, fanciers do not fly them. Click to see the original image

Turkish Takla has to be by far the most popular breed in Turkey. These pigeons are raised for their tumbling skills and performance throughout the country where other breeds tend to stay regional. They come in many colors, and plain, mustached, rosed, crested or double crested heads. Although in recent years mottled and grizzled birds have been showing up they are frown upon. White color is only acceptable in some formations; white self being one. White tail markings and to a degree white head markings are also considered to be traditional.

These birds come in many colors and some have an interesting hazel green eye color. But the most exciting feature about them is their nose-diving. They are fast, very fast, making such a noise (like a rushing wind) as they fall. They are flown in small kits of two or three birds to great hight and then a dropper is swung in the hand to signal them down. The birds instantly fall like a rock or bomb... straight for the cage or the cupboard. Their speep is estimated 90 MHP. That is dropping at 132 feets per second from one thousand feet. You have only 6 to 8 seconds to capture the fall. Some birds will go into a wild spin with both wings open. Some birds will come down like a rocket with the wings closed. Others act as they are going to crash into the rooftop, then soar up like a jet airplane, making a loop and then diving back to the cage. Some fanciers call them Phantom Kus, means airplane bird.
