Icmeler is in the bay of Marmaris, surrounded by green hills and next to the Marmaris resort.
Icmeler is newer, smaller and marginally quieter than hideous Maramaris. Its beach is half a
mile long, with a traffic free promenade stretching from Marmaris all way round the bay to
Icmeler. Excellent facilities and amenities. 10 minutes dolmus ride to Maramaris, 2 hours 15
minutes from Dalaman Airport. Many activities are available in Icmeler or around the town.
Biking, motorbiking, surfing, jet skiing, para sailing, hiking, city tours and mostly sunbathing
are most favorites. There are also waterparks and playing grounds available for kids and adults
to enjoy them selves. For night time, many bars and restaurants are open to serve guests their
specialties and entertain them whether it be live music or live animations. Maramaris has an
award-winning PADI & BSAC dive centre.
Marmaris is a heavenly corner where the mediterranian merges with the agean sea.
The bays on the long coast line, the a natural port; ancient cities, natural attractions; BLUE TOUR facilities, a marina for 800 boats and all kind of water sport facilities make Marmaris a paradise for the tourist.
Since it's Mediterranean climate, it is possible to enjoy swimming in the sea even in winter. Pine forests surround it, large leafed plane trees, and GUNLUK trees, which are peculiar to Mušla only and found no where else in the world.
